Come celebrate Art in the Burbs’ 20-year anniversary on October 12th & 13th at Tualatin High School.  The two-day annual festival transforms the gym and commons into an art show with original works from more than 80 juried local artists – all items will be available for sale.

Enjoy up and coming student artists artwork and fantastic vocal and musical performances throughout the weekend. See the talent of our local students first hand!

arts in the burbs glass caseSince 2007, the show has raised $262,271 for music, literature, visual and performing arts in the Tigard-Tualatin-School District. The non-profit program raises funds through a 20% commission on all sales during the 2-day arts event. Event proceeds benefit programs in all schools (elementary, middle and high school). Grants are awarded to each school to use exclusively for Arts programs, including music, visual and performing art and writing.

“I want to give kids the love of music. I’m very thankful to Art In The Burbs for the years of support,” Angie Mullins, music teacher at Mary Woodward Elementary.

“What I love about the foundation is they are so transparent where the money is going,” Ceramics Artist and parent of 3, Carolyn Bulkley. “I can log on to the website and see exactly how the money was spent.”
