MVP Youth Sports, a family-run business in Tualatin for the last 12 years offering youth flag football and basketball, is expanding to offer flag football through 12th grade in the fall. There will be separate leagues for boys and girls in grades 9-12 and coed leagues for grades K-8th grade in the fall and spring. Basketball for grades K-3 will be offered in the winter.

MVP Youth Sports’ focus has been to provide a fun youth sports experience while teaching the basic fundamentals of the sport in a safe and positive atmosphere.

The teams are kept small so that everyone gets plenty of playing time.

Flag football practices and games are held on Sunday afternoons at Tualatin Elementary School, with convenient back-to-back practice and game.

Registration is open to kids from all areas. Bring your own team or sign up and be placed on a team. It is a great way for kids to learn life lessons through teamwork and a great way to meet new friends. MVP accepts friend and coach requests.

Registration includes seven weeks of practices and games and an MVP T-shirt and medal at the end of the season. No special gear is needed, but many like to bring and wear mouthguards. The registration fee is $129 for seven weeks of fun.

MVP welcomes parent volunteer coaches – and training is provided before the season begins!
