The 2nd Annual Tigard Music Fest kicks off at 5:30 pm on July 14, 2023 on SW Main and SW Tigard Streets in downtown Tigard, where attendees can literally dance in the streets.

“We increased the footprint based on last year’s attendance and success,” said Florian Raqueño, founder and CEO of Florian Raqueño Productions who co-presents Tigard Music Fest. “It’s fantastic witnessing all who gather for the common love of music.”

Raqueño and fellow co-presenter John Goodhouse, who owns Beach Hut Deli with his son, Austin, estimate this year’s event will top the 7,000 people who attended last year’s inaugural festival. Food trucks, vendors and a beer and wine garden at the private lot behind Main Street shops will house the Burnham Stage, sponsored by Curiosities Vintage. Soloists, duos and bands are set to perform on the Burnham stage.

“Our staff is ready for an even busier weekend. We’re increasing staff, ordering additional products and customers will have the ability to order in advance,” said Goodhouse,  “We expect a huge impact to downtown businesses during the event.”

Think shows. Think classic rock, Latin, country, blues, soul, pop and southern rock and Motown hits.

International performers and hometown favorites Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts perform Saturday night on the Main Street stage, made possible by Headliner Sponsor Planet Fitness. “We’ve been around for 45 years and we can still rock with the best. Put on your dancing shoes and get ready!” said Jerry Hofmann, band leader for Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts.

Limited amount of reserved seats under a canopy are available near the Main Street and Plaza stages. Each table will have four chairs, so there may be some people making new friends. Each canopy will have its own private bar. Tickets may be purchased at the event website, www.tigardmusicfestival.com.
