The Tigard Downtown Alliance is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated Wine Walk & ArtWeekend, which will be held from May 16 through 19, 2024. This exciting event promises a vibrant celebration of art, community, and delicious wines.
Discover Local Artists:
Throughout the weekend, participating businesses along Main Street will transform into mini art galleries, showcasing the work of talented local artists. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the artists firsthand, learn about their creative processes, and discover unique pieces to add to their collections.
Wine Walk:
On Thursday, May 16 (4 pm – 8 pm), wine lovers can sip and stroll their way down Main Street, sampling a variety of local wines at participating businesses. Each location will feature a different winery and artist. Last year’s event sold out at 300 tickets, and we’re expecting up to 450 attendees this year, so be sure to grab your spot ahead of time at tinyurl.com/4me34nrp.
Art in the Community:
On Saturday, May 18 (12 pm – 2 pm), join a community event where participants of all ages can transform Universal Plaza into a vibrant tapestry of chalk art. This is a fantastic opportunity for families, friends, and art enthusiasts to come together and create a masterpiece.
Pop-Up Art Market:
On Sunday, May 19 (9 am – 1:30 pm), browse a wide selection of pieces from local artists, perfect for finding that unique treasure or gift. Located across from Universal Plaza on SW Burnham St., this vibrant marketplace is a delightful way to support local artists and add a special piece to your home.
