Ducks of the Pacific Northwest

Did you know there are only 40 species of ducks worldwide and we have 25 of them right here in the Pacific Northwest? Learn how to identify them and explore their amazing world and unique biology with Marilyn Ellis, Oregon Master Naturalist and Certified Interpretive Guide. Program presented in partnership with Friends of the Tigard Library.

Raise a reader with the library! Enjoy stories, songs and movement when you come to our interactive family storytimes for all ages. All storytimes are FREE and open to the public. No registration required!


Tigard Public Library services will shift to a temporary location at Tigard City Hall (13125 SW Hall Blvd. Tigard) beginning on Friday, February 6, while the library building is closed due to construction. The library building will temporarily close on Sunday, February 1. Construction is planned to be completed by May 2026.
