Downtown Tigard will host its annual Trick or Treat Main Street event from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Oct. 30, offering local families an evening of costumed trick-or-treating along the commercial corridor.
The first hour, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., will be reserved for young children and neurodivergent youths to provide a quieter, sensory-friendly environment.
The festivities will open to all families and children from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Participating businesses throughout the downtown core will hand out candy and treats along Main Street. Costumes are encouraged for all attendees.
Organizers noted that local police officers and volunteers will be stationed at crosswalks throughout the afternoon. Street traffic will be restricted along the route to ensure pedestrian safety.
