Mask & Mirror Community Theatre has announced five spectacular shows for its upcoming 2025–2026 Diamond Anniversary Season 15. The three main shows will be produced on The Main Stage at Rise Church, located at 10445 Canterbury Lane, Tigard, over three weekends. Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday shows will start at 2:30 p.m. Their two edgier Unmasked Series shows will be staged at M&M’s new Unmasked venue, Tualatin United Methodist Church, 20200 Martinazzi Avenue, Tualatin, Oregon. The shows will be performed four weekends of Friday 7:30pm and Saturday 2:00pm show times.

Their first Rise Main Stage show – Mary Chase’s award-winning drama “Harvey” – will run November 7-23, 2025, with Mark Putnam directing. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1945, this heartwarming play deals with themes of sanity, perception, and the power of kindness and empathy as it follows the affable Elwood P. Dowd’s friendship with a 6-foot-tall invisible rabbit and Dowd’s social-climbing sister’s attempts to institutionalize him for his bizarre behavior.

Mask & Mirror’s first Unmasked Series show for its Diamond Anniversary season will be John Cariani’s “Almost, Maine,” directed by Tony Broom and will run from January 16 through February 7, 2026, at the Tualatin United Methodist Church. This sweet and witty look at falling in and out of love will tug at your heartstrings as you follow its central theme of love and connection. The audience will be immersed in a series of seemingly unrelated vignettes set in the magical town of Almost, Maine, to illustrate universal truths about the human heart, longing, and the complexities of human connection.

The world’s longest-running play, Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap,” will grace the Rise Main Stage from February 27 through March 15, 2026. Directed by Matt Russell, this two-act murder mystery, which subverts the usual genre of detective fiction with its ending twists, will have the audience on the edge of their seats.

The winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1937, Moss Hart’s and George S. Kaufman’s farce “You Can’t Take It With You” will be directed by Kraig Williams and be produced on the Rise Main Stage May 1-17, 2026. The importance of prioritizing happiness, pursuing dreams, and family over wealth and social status emerges as the play’s central theme, as it explores the idea that true fulfillment comes from pursuing one’s passions and enjoying life’s simple pleasures rather than accumulating wealth or conforming to societal expectations.

The second Unmasked offering of the season will be “The Cover of Life” by R. T. Robinson and will be directed by George Mauro. This moving story follows the lives of three war brides in 1943 rural Louisiana and explores themes of the struggle for self-worth, loyalty, and independence as the women each find their own voices and identities. It will be performed at the Tualatin United Methodist Church from July 10 to August 1, 2026.
