Summer Reading is in full swing at the Tigard Public Library! Your whole family can read through August 31 to earn books or the chance to win great prizes. Visit the Library Monday through Thursday, 10 am-8 pm, and Friday through Sunday, 10 am-6 pm, to sign up. The Library will be closed Monday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth and Tuesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. There will be no Storytime on Wednesday, July 5. View this pop-up exhibit from the Oregon Historical Society in the library courtyard. Visitors will learn about the evolution and expansion of Oregon industries, social justice movements, migration and immigration, environment and energy, and Indigenous nations in Oregon from WWII to present day.

Parks & Rec and the Library come together to bring you an outrageously fun musical performance in the park with Eric Herman! Eric’s music will have you smiling from ear to ear, dancing from limb to limb, and laughing from funny bone to funny bone. Games and crafts begin at 1pm, music starts at 2pm! Program presented in partnership with Tigard Parks & Recreation and the Ready to Read grant.
