Sip D’ Vine is one of downtown Tigard’s newest residents. Sip D’ Vine is a combination wine bar and bottle shop with approximately 500 different wines, from Northwest wineries exclusively. You can stop in and have glasses of wine, and/or buy bottles or cases to take home. Each wine is hand-selected by owner Jill Crecraft who has over 30 years of experience in the wine industry. “We can grow any grape in the Northwest. The key is to find out who does it well. That is my job,” said Crecraft. “Wine can be as involved and complicated as you want it to be, but no matter your palate, it all comes down to whether you like that particular wine. Is it worth spending your hard-earned money on?” Sip D’ Vine customers agree that Crecraft knows her wine. “I’ve never been disappointed in a wine selected by Jill,” said one customer.

Sip D’ Vine offers full and half case discounts, and a fridge is fully stocked with whites, dry rosés, and bubbles if you need to grab something on the way.

Crecraft’s knowledge of wines is just one of the things making Sip D’ Vine unique. Sip D’ Vine’s personal attention to customers helps guarantee you get a wine you will enjoy. Customers can tell Crecraft their budget, flavor preferences, occasion, and meal that the wine will be served with, and she will curate a selection of wines to fit your requirements. You can stop by the store and explore the offerings yourself or call the shop to have wine selected for you to pick up.

Sip D’ Vine is a fragrance-free business. Crecraft asks that you not wear perfume, cologne, or body products when visiting the store. She wants people to use their sense of smell for a full wine-tasting experience. “Being fragrance-free creates a more authentic wine experience. You can’t experience the true taste of the wine if someone’s fragrance overpowers the wine,” said Crecraft. If you are wearing fragrance when you stop by Sip D’ Vine, the wine can be brought out to your car – in the bottle, of course.

Sip D’ Vine relocated to Main Street Tigard after 21 years in Multnomah Village. Downtown Tigard “just felt right. It was where I wanted to be,” said Crecraft. The construction on Main Street has been a challenge, yet the end is in sight. Construction is expected to be complete in June with the new sidewalks and street improvements. “It will be done soon and look great. We all look forward to a glorious summer with wine in downtown Tigard!”

Sip D’ Vine is open Tuesday through Sunday. Hours, contact information, and wine details can be found at www.sipdvine.com
