Broadway Rose Theatre Company will be transforming their newly expanded space into a magical woodland for its annual gala. Titled Once Upon a Time, the fundraiser will be filled with nods to childhood’s favorite fairy tales.
“It’s going to be incredibly immersive,” said Holly Richards, Broadway Rose development manager. “From the moment you step in the door, you are going to be transported to a different place.”
The Once Upon a Time gala takes place on Saturday, March 18, and will include a premiere performance of Happily Ever After, an original musical revue by Dan Murphy.
The Happily Ever After musical revue includes songs from kingdoms far, far away, including Brigadoon, Camelot, Oz, and more, along with enchanting performances by Broadway Rose favorites Kimo Camat, Joe Theissen, Malia Tippets, and Blythe Woodland, with musical direction by Darcy White.
The musical revue is the centerpiece of the fundraising gala each year and offers a musical tribute to Broadway Rose donors while featuring fan favorites and the songs they love.
Attendees will also enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres by Delilah’s Catering paired with wine and fairy-tale-themed mocktails while bidding on select experiences and silent auction items.
