Rise Church (formerly Calvin Presbyterian) invites the community to a free concert on Sunday afternoon, December 17, at 2:00 p.m.
This beautiful candlelight service will feature bells, voices, and orchestra celebrating the light and life of the Christmas message. The highlight of the program will be A New and Glorious Morn, a stunningly beautiful Christmas musical by Lloyd Larson.
The music and narrative showcase the composer’s deeply meaningful experiences during his recent visit to the Holy Land. During this timeless journey through the message of Christmas, the audience will hear familiar lyrics and ageless melodies performed in a contemporary blending of new styles and arrangements.
All are welcome and admission is free.
Rise Church is located at 10445 S.W. Canterbury Lane, Tigard, Oregon. There is ample parking.
Rise will also offer a family service on December 24, at 4 p.m.
