Rise Church is excited to announce a music summer camp for students interested in learning the basics of music and playing various instruments. Ben Rector, a local instructor from King City Guitar, leads the camp.
The camp will run for four weeks, from July 8 to 31. Classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 to 2 p.m. in the church’s choir robe room. The cost of the camp is $75 per student, which includes eight lessons. Some scholarships are available for students with financial need.
In addition to the camp fee, there is an optional $50 rental fee for students who would like to take a guitar home to practice for the duration of the camp. King City Guitar can also provide additional instruments the church does not already have, such as guitars, amps, and cords.
The program is designed to teach students music basics on various instruments and enable them to play simple songs together.
This camp is perfect for students of all ages who are interested in learning about music and playing an instrument. No prior experience is necessary.
