About Disability Services Advisory Councils:
DSACs are established statewide in most Oregon counties under the Oregon Department of Human Services within the Office of Aging and People with Disabilities and within local offices that serve older adults and people with disabilities.
Council members will have opportunities apply their unique experiences to evaluate and advocate for programs that affect people with disabilities, collaborate with local and state agencies, and raise awareness about key issues such as accessible and affordable housing, transportation, health care and long-term care. Council member perspectives and input are essential for shaping the current and future systems that support people with disabilities in Oregon.
