Downtown Tigard Street Fair & Multicultural Festival Returns with addition of a Car Show

The Downtown Tigard Street Fair and Multicultural Festival is a one-day event that celebrates the diversity and vibrancy of Tigard, Oregon. The fair features over 100 local businesses, nonprofits, and organizations, as well as food vendors, a wine & beer garden, live entertainment, and activities for the whole family.

The fair is held on Main Street in Downtown Tigard, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023. Admission is FREE.

What to Expect at the Fair:

There is something for everyone at the Downtown Tigard Street Fair and Multicultural Festival. Here are just a few of the things you can expect to see and do:

  • Street Fair Vendors: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Car Show: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • On-Street: north and south sections of Main St., Burnham St., and Commercial St. 
  • Parking Lots: Burnham Parking Lot, Tigard Vision on Burnham Front & Back Lots, Tigard Public Works Lot.

  • DOGS: Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a leash. We anticipate a crowded and noisy event, so please plan accordingly. 
  • KIDS: We are very family-friendly!
  • ATM: There is a credit union ATM on Burnham Street.
  • FIRST AID: Located at the CERT booth at the intersection of Main & Burnham in front of KISS Car Wash. 
  • LOST & FOUND: Located at the CERT Booth 
  • RESTROOMS: Porta Potties are placed throughout the Street Fair.\
MB Peru Baila Así focuses on sharing the beauty of Peruvian Folkloric dance throughout the country, and now you can enjoy their unique performance right here in Tigard!
Conjunto Alegre plays a hot mix of tropical music from all over the Caribbean – Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, and the U.S. Conjunto Alegre will give you an opportunity to dance, sing along, and have a great time!
The Oregon Fairytale Project characters will perform magical “street theater” throughout the festival.
The Happy Family Maasai Dancers are a group of Maasai dancers in the USA. The Maasai are a tribe from Tanzania and Kenya.
Trent Beaver is known as one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier singer-songwriters. His songwriting and style spans multiple genres but is generally acoustic pop mixed with some southern rock. He captivates audiences with his raspy vocals and heart-felt lyrics.
As seen on Shark Tank! Nationally known, The Cousins Maine Lobster Food Truck comes to the Tigard Street Fair. This is your chance to try Maine lobster grilled cheese, lobster tacos, or for the purists amongst us, a hot or cold lobster roll.
A Little SEL teaches social and emotional learning (SEL) skills. Children can make connections to relatable scenarios that the familiar characters experience. Join in the fun with a Little SEL!
