For 10 electrifying years, Jennifer Batten performed with Michael Jackson all over the world. Her Guitar genius won her the coveted job of playing alongside one of the world’s most popular musical artists, and together they mesmerized the world at Superbowl XXVII’s halftime show which aired to one and a half billion people in 80 nations. It was at that time the largest audience in television history.

In 1998, after touring with Jackson, Jennifer was asked to join international recording artist Jeff Beck’s band. She recorded two CDs with him and supported those recordings with world tours. Batten’s debut CD was produced by former Stevie Wonder guitarist Michael Sembello.

In 2011, Batten did a guitar residency for the Cirque Du Soleil show “Zumanity” in Las Vegas. Since that time, she has continued to perform in many musical formats worldwide. She has a one-woman multi-media show as well as a full band comprised of some of Portland’s top musicians and vocalists. Jennifer has also authored two music books and has released three solo CDs venturing from world beat and rock n roll to electronica.

Batten currently resides in Oregon, and when she is at home, she and her band “Full Steam” play for summer concerts, festivals and special events throughout the Pacific Northwest.
