Mike’s Drive-In to occupy former Subway Sandwiches location
Mike’s Drive-In, known for its famous fresh, made-to-order burgers, has announced its newest location in Tigard. Planning on opening this May, this will be Mike’s third location, and its first new restaurant in over three decades.
Founded in 1971 by Mike Martin, Mike’s Drive-In has been a community staple for over 50 years and is known for its fresh, made-to-order burgers, hot sandwiches, over 30 milkshake flavors, soft-serve ice cream and banana splits. Todd Freeman purchased Mike’s Drive-in in 1983 and is excited to continue its legacy in the Tigard community.
“It took us 30 years to find the perfect location and we are excited to have found it in Tigard,” said Freeman. “We are thrilled to be joining the Tigard community and can’t wait to open the doors and welcome old and new customers.”
Mike’s Drive-In will hold a Grand Opening celebration in late Spring 2022 (date TBA) at 11634 SW Pacific Highway in Tigard. The celebration will be open to the public and will include burger specials, giveaways, raffles and prizes all day long.
“Mike would have been proud of what Mike’s Drive-In has become,” said Freeman. “Over 50 years in business and just having fun!”
