Broadway Rose Theatre Presents a Holiday Musical Revue

Broadway Rose Theatre Company continues its 2022 Season of Live Musicals with the fan-favorite holiday musical revue A Very Merry PDX-mas. Preview performance is Wednesday, November 23, with opening night on Friday, November 25, and performances continuing through December 22. Evening performances are Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Matinees are at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Performances are held at the Broadway Rose New Stage located at 12850 SW Grant Avenue in Tigard. Tickets are priced from $30 to $50 for adults (depending on date). Tickets in the upper section for ages 6-18 are $20 and ages 19-35 are $25. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. $5 tickets are available for Oregon Trail Card holders through the Arts for All program. A Very Merry PDX-mas is a charming exploration of seasonal traditions and how the holidays continue to enchant us, inspire us, and drive us to the brink of insanity. Combining classic carols, holiday pop songs, and original offbeat material created especially for Portland audiences, A Very Merry PDX-mas lovingly pokes fun at our “ever green” city with the perfect mix of local humor and holiday heart. Songs include: “PDX-mas,” “Carol Of The Fans,” “Green Christmas,” and “The Re-Gifters’ Lament,” plus many of your favorite holiday classics. 

The cast comprises Cara Arcuni, Michael Hammerstrom, William Shindler, Richie Stone, Malia Tippets, Tara Velarde, and Blythe Woodland.

A Very Merry PDX-mas was conceived by Abe Reybold, with vocal arrangements by Abe Reybold and Jay Tumminello. The show is directed by Sharon Maroney, with music direction from Billy Thompson, and choreography by Dan Murphy. The creative team includes Jim Crino (Set Designer), Janelle Sutton (Costume Designer), Carl Faber (Lighting Designer), Brian Karl Moen (Sound Designer), Emily Rusmisel (Prop Designer), and Jessica Junor (Production Stage Manager).
