Classic Movie Matinees

1st Thursday of the month: April 4 & May 2 | 1:30 PM

The library will screen classic musicals, Classic Hollywood Cinema, and American New Wave movies every first Thursday of the month. 

April 4: Singin’ in the Rain (1952) 
May 2: A Fistful of Dollars (1964)

Bring your imagination and creativity to design, build, and explore. We’ll provide the supplies.

Day of Books and Roses

Tuesday, April 23 | Take & Make | Teens in grades 6-12 

One day every year in the Catalonia region of Spain, folks celebrate love by giving each other roses and books. That’s an idea worth borrowing! Stop by the library’s Teen Scene to pick up a special edition Take & Make bag with a surprise wrapped book and supplies to make a duct tape rose.  Program presented in partnership with Friends of the Tigard Library.

Coffee & Conversation

4th Thursday of the month: April 25 | 9-10 AM
Burgess Community Room | Adults  

Get to know library staff and create community with your neighbors. Free coffee and light breakfast. Everyone is welcome.

Free Comic Book Day

Comics while supplies last in Children’s Room & 2nd floor
Film Screening 11-5:30 PM | Burgess Community Room

We’re delighted to be a stop on your Free Comic Book Day circuit this year! Stop by the library to choose from an incredible selection of exclusive comics (for kids, teens, and adults), and stay for a marathon of Star Wars episodes IV – VI on the big screen!  Program presented in partnership with Friends of the Tigard Library.
