City Council is continuing to deliver on our 2023-2025 goal to Modernize City Services with the launch of launch of our new online portal – the Tigard Service Request

Community members now have a streamlined and user-friendly tool to report issues, request services, and track the progress of their requests.

The platform allows residents to:

  • Submit Requests Anytime: Whether you’re reporting a pothole, streetlight repairs, or tree issue, you can submit your request 24/7.
  • Direct Communication with City Team Members: The platform directs communication with the appropriate city departments, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Track Requests: You will receive real-time updates on your request, from submission to completion, getting information on where the Tigard team is at with processing your request. You will also be able to see what other community members have submitted across the city.

To support you in learning how to navigate this new system, we have both online help resources, and we are offering drop-in support sessions at the Tigard Public Library, where city team members will be available to help answer questions. Resources and support listed below are available in English and Spanish.

How to Get Support

  • Drop-in to Tigard Public Library Technology Room on Saturday, Feb 1, 10-11 a.m.
  • Drop-in to Tigard Public Library Technology Room on Wednesday, Feb 5, 12 -1 p.m.
  • Visit www.tigard-or.gov/service-request for a robust FAQ, video tutorials, and how-to one-pagers.

As we continue to leverage our new Tyler Technologies platform, we will have more updates in the future. And I’ll give you a sneak peek! Updates include a new online permit center services portal that will allow customers to submit payments and applications online, schedule plan reviews, and more.

I encourage you to take full advantage of this new service and share your feedback with us. Your input is crucial in making our city an even better place to live, work, and play.

We’re working hard to make Tigard more accessible and easier to navigate for all our community members. By using this new system, you are helping us identify areas of improvement, streamline service delivery, and ensure that our city remains a place where everyone’s needs are met.
