September is Library Card Sign Up Month, and your free WCCLS library card hits all the right notes! Check out a classic story or hit shuffle and try something new. Find harmony at Tigard Public Library’s book club, movie afternoons, community swaps, and author talks. Find your focus in a study room or vibe out in a cozy nook. Compose your future with tools in the Library of Things. No matter what rhythm you find yourself in, there’s a seat in the front row at the library for you. Music & Movement in Mandarin / 儿童中文音辛律咦泲

Sharon Gan, founder of Heart Strings Mandarin, will lead children and their parents as they sing, move, play instruments, and tell stories in Mandarin, English and American Sign Language. All levels of Mandarin fluency from absolute beginners to native Mandarin speakers are welcome. Program presented in partnership with Friends of the Tigard Library.

Aging in Place & Beyond: Local Support and Services

Washington Country has resources to help seniors maintain their independence. Elaine Lawrence from Washington County Disability, Aging and Veteran Services will share support resources for home safety, accessibility, transportation, food resilience, and more. Program presented in partnership with Washington County Disability, Aging and Veteran Services.

Canta Con Amigos: Sing with Friends

Join us for Canta con Amigos, a bilingual sing-along program! This interactive program blends English and Spanish through music and movement. Canta con Amigos is a welcoming space to learn, connect, and celebrate language and culture together.

Growing Sprouts & Microgreens 

Wednesday, September 23 | 6:30-7:30 PM
Burgess Community Room | Adults

Sprouts and microgreens are an easy, economical way to grow your own food on your windowsill or counter in just a few minutes a day! You’ll learn the basics in this hands-on workshop. The first 20 attendees will go home with a tray of planted greens.
