Northwest Dance Theatre (NWDT) is proud to present the enchanting tale of Peter and the Wolf, a timeless story of bravery and cleverness told through dance. This imaginative performance brings Peter’s thrilling adventure with his animal friends and their daring encounter with a fierce wolf to life.

In addition to “Peter and the Wolf,” NWDT is presenting a new piece, “Rhythmic Elements,” performed in collaboration with a live symphony, the Metropolitan Youth Symphony’s MYSfits, who will be performing the vibrant music of Astor Piazzolla. Guest choreographers include M’Liss Stephenson and Oregon Ballet Theatre’s Makino Hayashi.

Rounding out the above pieces, NWDT presents “Pineapple Poll,” a fun and entertaining piece performed for your enjoyment.

Performances will be held on Saturday, April 12, at Portland Community College Sylvania Campus’ Performing Arts Center. Tickets can be purchased at the www.nwdt.org website.
