Fanno Creek Trail | Kids & Families 

Enjoy reading and nature at the same time as you walk the Fanno Creek Trail behind the library. Pause along the way at displays of each page from a specially chosen picture book. A new story will go up each month through September! Enter to win the featured book each month.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Program presented in partnership with Friends of the Tigard Library.

Repair Fair: Volunteers Needed!

Do you have a broken item at home you have been meaning to fix? Do you have skills to fix broken items? Repair Fairs are free community events that bring volunteers and community members together to fix broken items, teach valuable repair skills, and learn from listening and doing. Please, no gas-powered equipment, hazardous items, vehicles or weapons. Register your items for repair, sign up to volunteer, or learn more about Washington County Repair Fairs on the Library website.

Pride Book Bags 

Throughout June While Supplies Last 
Teens in grades 6-12 

Sign up for a pride-themed book bag filled with an LGBTQIA2S+ book and other goodies that will impress you with their rainbow randomness. Stop by the Children’s Reference Desk to sign up or register on the Library website. Program presented in partnership with Friends of the Tigard Library.

Summer Reading! 

June 1-August 31 | Kids, Teens, and Adults

Sign up for Summer Reading! Kids, teens, and adults can pick up a free book and reading log June 1 through August 31. When the log is complete, bring it back to be eligible for more prizes. Summer Reading is made possible by the Ready to Read grant and Friends of the Tigard Library.
