Laser Hair Therapy is a non-chemical, non-invasive treatment effective for hair loss.  Currently popular in Asia and Europe, low level laser therapy is delivered by a device that contains panels of lasers that shine on the scalp. The high-end laser hair loss treatment system is based on 660nm low level diode laser technology, with no adverse side affects or pain. The therapeutic light energy is absorbed by the cells and the process of cell repair begins. It stimulates the production of energy at the cellular level, therefore, improving cell function. Low Level Lasers are referred to as “cold” lasers because they do not release energy in the form of heat. The light wavelength emitted from a low level laser actually will repair tissues that have impaired cellular metabolism by stimulating blood circulation, encouraging regeneration of normal healthy tissues.

The effect of low- and medium-energy cold lasers on the human body is similar to the photosynthesis of plant growth. Through the nourishing light energy, the hair follicle is stimulated to grow and develop, prolonging new hair growth, and helping restore healthy hair growth cycles. This results in new hair growth, increased density, fullness and vitality.

The growth cycle of hair is divided into three stages: growth period, regression period, and rest period. About 10% to 15% of normal hair is in the period of retreat and rest. The hair growth device effectively clears the pores, revitalizes and rejuvenates the aging hair roots, growing healthy hair and keeping hair in the growth period.

Clinical Research Results

Clinical studies included men and women between the ages of 25 and 60 who were diagnosed with androgenetic alopecia, also known as male pattern baldness, in the past year. The inclusion criteria for men were in accordance with the male Norwood Hamilton classification (male) type II to V hair loss classification. The female inclusion criteria were in accordance with Ludwig I-4, type II and frontal type systems.

All subjects were randomized to receive 1-2 treatments per week for 10-15 minutes per treatment for a total of 20 weeks on non-continuous days. Biostatisticians measured hair growth and hair density at 10 and 20 weeks respectively, and scheduled multiple clinical trials to monitor overall hair changes and growth.

  • Clinical studies have shown that the user experience after using the device included:
  • Significant growth of hair
  • Reversed the aging process of the hair follicle
  • Increased hair density and fullness
  • Increased average hair volume: 159 hairs / square inch
  • Significant reduction in hair loss
  • Faster hair growth
  • Hair is easier to manage
  • Overall hair quality is improved
