Main Street Stamp & Stationery has been a staple of downtown Tigard for over 54 years. Family-owned and operated, David and Mary Savory founded their business in 1967. Today, Deborah Montoya, Savory’s daughter, manages the store.

Main Street Stamp & Stationery is a traditional stationery store—and so much more. They sell paper, pens, scrapbooking and craft supplies, cards, gifts, decorations, office supplies, etc. If you can’t find what you are looking for onsite, they can place a special order from a catalog of over 25,000 items.

One of the assets that makes the business unique is Montoya’s depth of product knowledge. She knows old school techniques that work and stays current with new products and trends. Deborah and her staff love helping customers brainstorm and provide great practical advice for getting started on their projects. “We are focused on customer service and satisfaction—and offering assistance in any way possible.”

Something else that makes Main Street Stamp & Stationery special are the monthly events and special guest workshops, and the weekly classes every Wednesday. “I love that our classes and events have become a community outlet for relaxed and peaceful fellowship,” said Montoya. These popular events consistently sell out. There are often additional events and classes offered on Fridays and Saturdays.

With the holiday season coming into full effect, Montoya is excited to share they will be hosting their annual holiday open house in early December. This event is a fun opportunity to get into the holiday spirit, enjoy yummy treats, and explore all the things Main Street Stamp & Stationary has to offer. Event details and class schedules are available through their eNewsletter. Visit their website www.mainstreetstamp.com to sign-up for these notifications.

Downtown Tigard is open for business. In order to encourage shopping locally and supporting downtown businesses during the holiday season, the City of Tigard does not allow non-essential construction between Thanksgiving and New Years in downtown Tigard.
